Some people don’t think that there are many exciting things to do in the UK. They’re wrong! There are so many exciting things you can do in the UK, and there’s something to suit everybody. And they’re not all in London either.
Go Hiking
Hiking is one of the best things to do in the UK because there are so many beautiful places to see. You might not realise it when you’re driving down the side streets and motorways, but beautiful places are abundant in the UK. There are so many different places to hike that I suggest buying a book of the best hikes. You’ll get instructions and a map to help you if you need it. It’s one the best ways to get some fresh British air and see some of the UK’s most scenic landscape views.
Enjoy the Views
Although you can hike and enjoy the views in the UK, it isn’t for everybody. Not everybody wants to go rambling when they’re exploring somewhere. They want to see new things, but they want to relax at the same time. How can you do this? You could hop in a hot air balloon, or even in a helicopter. You can see places like Compos Country Trail, which will give you a good idea of what the UK is all about.
Shop Till You Drop
The UK might not be known as one of the best places for fashion in the world like Rome and Paris, but it certainly has some amazing places to shop. If you love shopping, you can’t go wrong in one of the bigger cities. There’s London, of course, with Oxford Street and Harrods but you also have Liverpool, Manchester, and Birmingham. There are so many high street stores and even vintage shops so you are guaranteed to find some additions to your wardrobe. With regular sales, you can find some real unique bargains shopping in the UK.
Experience Some Amazing Nightlife
The nightlife in the UK might not rival Ibiza, but it has its charm. There are some great places to go for a drink and soak up the atmosphere, like Liverpool and Manchester. Each place has its own unique personality, so it all depends on what you want. A night out in Digbeth, Birmingham can be really fun, quirky and relaxed. However, a night out in Chelsea in London would be very upmarket. If you’re coming to the UK, you definitely need to experience a few places like this if you want to have a good time.
Head to a Festival
The UK has a lot of festivals during the summer time. If you like live music, you’re in for a treat. There’s Leeds fest, Reading fest, V fest, Glasto, and so many more. Then you have the food festivals, beer festivals, and craft festivals so can take your pick.
The UK is full of personality, so you have so many things to choose from when visiting. You can relax, be active, or have a ball – it’s up to you!
